Left Click Not Working

Left click mouse button not working — after trying different mouses and a lot of dead end searching and advice, finally found the solution to the left click mouse button not working. In the buttons tab on the control panel icon for the mouse speed I had increased the speed.

The mistake is setting the slide button to "fast" on the right side thinking it makes the mouse faster. The opposite is true. Faster speed needs to be set on slow (move slide to the left) . I did the adjustment and mouse works fine.
